Nomadic Naali
A wilderness camp on the edge of the Arctic Circle, where a pack decides how you travel
Your nose tip is ice-cold. With every breath, small clouds form, as if the air itself were freezing. The sun is out, and the snow glitters across the frozen lake. Nature calms you here – precisely because there's so little to look at. Absolute silence. All you hear are the dogs' paws crunching through the snow with every step. And yet you feel a cozy warmth – simply because you're content.
Especially in winter, when everything is deep in snow and the lake is frozen, the landscape feels almost surreal. There are days when all you hear is the snow under your feet, and nothing else.
